My new toy arrived, an interfit 60x60x60cm light box. I saw this online, and figured it'd help taking photos of miniatures with good lighting and without e.g. annoying shine and shadows.
First impressions:
- Oh my god it's huge! I didn't quite realize how large it would be. 40x40x40 would have been large enough and then some
- The background screens in the photos aren't included, I'm now using a randowm bit of blue paper. Will have to hunt some down.
- It does work together easily with my 2 daylight lamps (28W/1600 lumen "true daylight" lamps SB-28W/220V)
Here's the first few pictures I took playing around with it:
I'm pretty chuffed. Easy to take well illuminated pictures.
Unfortunately it also clearly shows the limits of my painting ;)

Very cool toy. I would like one but like you, I fear it wouldn't be that flattering to my painting abilities.
